The Union, NH Train Station | GWRC Home | Picture Gallery Home

The Union Train station was built about 1912. At one time it housed the post office.
Many passengers got off here to spend some vacation time at the Union Hotel.
Passenger rail service was discontinued in 1956. Today's owner has a website at:

This is a very early picture of the station. On the right side of the picture notice the siding behind the station with a rail car in the background. In the right-hand foreground is the archway walk to the Union Hotel.

Judging by the automobiles, the picture below was taken in the forties. The overhang had been extended by then. In the front right corner, there is a man standing, reading a newspaper.
